What I enjoyed about DIE FOR ME was that Amy was able to take a genre filled with varying supernatural entities and make it her own. If someone were to ask me what a revenant was, I could explain it to them in explicit detail. Her ability to meld French history with modern-day Paris while infusing it with an incredibly unique world of her own is really quite amazing, and makes for an incredibly enjoying read. UNTIL I DIE does not suffer from second book syndrome, and instead further paints a realistic picture for the characters we've come to love and fleshes out themselves and their journey even further. The ending, while a cliffhanger, shouldn't be too surprising in how it's picked up in IF I SHOULD DIE. Really a refreshing read, and one of my favorite paranormal series.
