Oh, Blue Moon. I'm not going to be the one to go down the long-winded path of Twilight comparisons, but they're there if you choose to look.While I thought Ever was a good character (not my favorite MC, but definitely readable) in Evermore, in Blue Moon there were times when I had no idea why she was doing what she was doing. Most of these times were nearing the end of the book (when it really counted) and left me confused as I was reading. Why would you choose to believe someone who you know is blatantly your enemy over people who have been helping you? Why do MCs do this over and over again? If there's one thing that bothers me in a story it's this and I almost decided not to read the next book because of it.One of my favorite parts of the book was getting to visit Summerland and the experiences Ever has there, particularly finding out more about Damen's history. I loved Romy and Rayne, too - fun examples of secondary characters that I feel were more fleshed out and interesting by themselves than Haven, Ever's friend has been over the course of two books. I'm not particularly thrilled with the end, but I'm curious to see how it's resolved so I'm pressing on to the next book.
